Snowed out ‘Christmas Candle’ rescheduled for Thursday

The faith-affirming film, ‘Christmas Candle,’ will be making its Connecticut premiere at theAMC Loews theater on Farmington Avenue on Jan. 16. This is a rescheduled date from Jan. 2, in which the outing was snowed out.
The Hometown Connection, the all-volunteer monthly newspaper of Plainville, is serving as the conduit for tickets, working with local churches whose parishioners want to see the film. The film stars Susan Boyle among others. The film,which is based on the book by Max Lucado. is described in promotional materials as a piece that ‘illuminates the spirit and sense of wonder that are the true meaning of Christmas. The film will be shown at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 in Plainville. Tickets are $12 and are available at participating churches or at Hometown Connection, (860) 747-4119. You will pick up and pay for the tickets in the lobby starting at 6:30 p.m at “The Christmas Candle Table.”
