So many wonderful smiles! The one and only Ms. Susan Boyle is an amazing super star who is an inspiration to her fans by her own example. Even though Susan was turned away many times and was bullied, Susan had the courage and determination to keep going to get where she is today. Fantastic accomplishment!

Hello,
It’s been awhile since I last wrote. Instead of boring you with mundane news I prefer to wait till I have something exciting to say.
I’ve been very busy singing and rehearsing. For what you ask? Well I’m pleased to announce that I will be embarking on my own tour in Scotland this July aptly named ‘Susan Boyle In Concert’.
This is the first year that I feel I can hold my own on a stage for the full time and that I will be able to please an audience and my fans. So I will be performing on 7 nights in Scotland as a tester to see if I enjoy it. The venues chosen are intimate and steeped in Scottish history.
Fingers crossed it will all go well and then as they say the world is my oyster and I can look in 2014 to do more, well that’s the plan anyway.
One of the reasons I chose Scotland was to say thank you to my fellow Scots for their unwavering support over the past four years. The loyalty and kindness shown to me has been overwhelming, so now it’s my turn to give something back.
I hope that you all will come and watch the shows and more importantly enjoy them. This is a big step for me but one that I’m very excited about. There will be a variety of music and I’ll have my own band, plus a few surprises on the night.
I look forward to seeing the red scarves in the audience! As a special treat for my fans, please come back tomorrow evening (Thursday) when I will give you a password so you can order specially held fan tickets. They are limited in numbers and on a first come first serve basis, limited to four per person but as I would love you to join me on this tour I felt it was the least I could do.
I hope you are as excited as I am.

Hello,

Susan Boyle Supports Fire-ravaged Local Zoo

Scottish singer Susan Boyle stunned staff at a small zoo last week (ends28Apr13) when she paid an impromptu visit to hand over a donation after one of its buildings was destroyed by a blaze.
The Scot toured the Five Sisters Zoo in West Lothian, close to her home in the town of Blackburn, on Friday (26Apr13) to see the damage caused to the tropical house when fire ripped through the building last month (Apr13).
She also handed a donation to staff to help with the rebuilding operation.
The animal sanctuary's head of marketing, Lesley Cooper, says, "We are so grateful for her donation. It's amazing to get the support of someone who is so well-known and loved worldwide."
