If someone had written a prediction at the beginning of 2009 that a lonely, shy, single obscure lady from a small Scottish village was about to step out onto the world stage and singlehandedly inspire a new sense of 'Hope' to a world in the midst of its greatest economic collapse in a century, they would have been laughed out of town.
Today, we celebrate the birthday of that very lady, Susan Boyle, for the 6th time since that fateful day when she took a chance on her dream and made it a reality beyond anybody's wildest predictions.
