‘Britain’s Got Talent’ singing sensation Susan Boyle turns 53 years old today and, as Susan herself would say in her iconic audition video, that’s just one side of her.
Susan’s rise from humble beginnings to becoming one of the most recognised women in the world might have been an unpredictably quick one, but that doesn’t mean it was easy.
Since stunning the world with her performance of ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ at the audition stages of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, Susan has released a remarkable five studio albums, performed with the likes of her heroes Elaine Paige and Donny Osmond (her last collection even included a posthumous duet with Elvis!) and earlier this year kicked off her first ever headlining UK tour.
Despite it all, Susan has remained true to herself, always retained her sense of humour and is now known as one of the most unconventional stars in the world of entertainment today. She is one of the rarest things - a star that everybody genuinely roots for and wants to succeed.
