...................THE BIRTH OF HOPE................ ....................................................

Headlines Winter 2008-09 were reading: "Markets Fall as Fears of Slump Span World"----"Crises Deals New Blow to Japan: Stocks at '82 Levels"----"Manufacturing Tumbles Globally"----"Crises Deepens as Banks Fail"----"Families Feel Pressure"

Into the middle of these circumstances on April 11, 2009 came a video broadcast that would change lives forever. 10,000,000 viewers watched a little lady walk out on the world stage and perform the greatest audition ever seen on the planet.

In the first 72 hours after her performance, Susan Boyle had 2,500,000 views of her audition. Within a week she reached 66,000,000 setting an online record. In the first nine days, her total reached 109,000,000 views on 20 different websites.

In spite of these phenominal numbers, she was largely ignored by the Music Elite. Not nominated by either the 2010 Grammy Awards or the 2010 Brit Awards, nevertheless Susan Boyle accomplished the following:
•--------Fastest Selling Debut Album of All Time in UK
•--------Amazon Largest Pre-Sales Album Ever 3 full months before its Release in '09
•--------#1 Sales of Hard Copy Album Sales in US in 2009 (3,018,000)
•--------Fastest Selling Global Female Debut Album Ever (2,000,000 in 1st week)
•--------Susan Boyle Story - Largest Audience Ever for TV Guide
•--------November 2010 - Only 3rd Person Ever to Have Two #1 Albums in US and UK in Same Year The following statement summed up the truth of these facts: "You (Music Elite) may be the coolest people in the world, but this year your industry was saved by a 48-year-old Scottish cat Lady in sensible Shoes" - Stephen Colbert, 2010 Grammy Awards Ceremony

In the midst of what was considered a global meltdown of hope for the future, worldwide, strode a sassy, independent, self-assured, middle-aged single lady with a wry, knowing smile who by her actions that day said to the world "I! HAVE! HOPE! and proceeded to prove it to the astonishment of millions who have subsequently followed her AMAZING JOURNEY over the last two years.

The SAGA continues unabated by time or circumstance and the stars are the limit for SUSAN MAGDALANE BOYLE.

On another note:  Is it possible that Susan's YouTube BGT Audition video of IDAD on April 11, 2009 may have helped in some way?
The President of Guinness World Records, Alistair Richards, confirmed the news and congratulated the show. He stated: "We are delighted to confirm that Got Talent has broken the previous world record and is now the official Guinness World Record holder for the Most successful reality television format, a landmark moment in television record breaking history, congratulations!"
