Received the email below from Rich in Conn. and replied last night. So you see, it is working, I am getting to these stations. I thought it was very interesting that he confirmed the top PTB should be doing this. I did send emails to Sony and also BBC and haven't heard back. Keep sending out emails. It doesn't matter if it is the right or wrong station, they know what each one is doing. The idea is to get everyone talking and doing something. Keep on going, we will make a dent.

HI Rich,

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I appreciate what you have to say and I do believe it is the responsibility of her recording company and/or management. However, we fans don't see this happening, so we forwarded a number of emails to Sony and Columbia, to no avail. Being a very devoted and ardent fan (following Susan since 2009, keeping two blogs on her progress and recently meeting her in NY) I feel badly her songs are not being played on the radio. This campaign came about through one of the fan sites I belong to. We fans started to talk about radio stations and the new CD. Then we realized it was not getting any air time, so we decided to do this campaign.

You may not think it is good that I do many radio stations at a time; however, I feel it is well worth it because not only am I requesting play for her music, but I am also letting the stations know that there are three Susan Boyle CDs out there. My mission is to do every state and make the radio stations aware that CDs by Susan Boyle are out there and fans want to hear her music. It is a devil of a job to find the correct emails address for each station. If I did one at a time, I would never get our message to as many stations as I do. We have fans all over the country, who are also following this and are contacting radios stations in their areas. We have many fans in Connecticut too. We have had some success, as some stations are playing her songs from "The Gift".

The fans all over the world are working on this and we have started a list of friendly stations. I have posted messages to the friendly stations on Twitter. Once we know the stations who play Susan's songs, we post it on the site. I will be posting your station as a friendly station, so that our thousands of members all over the country will know. Thank you for playing such wonderful music.

Thanks again Rich for your suggestion. I hope you realize that we care very much for Susan and her progress, as probably other fans do for their star. This is why we take the time to do this.

Happy Holidays to you and your staff.

Grace:

I appreciate your love for Susan Boyle...she's an amazing talent. I'm a fan as well. If I can offer you a bit of advice...don't send an email to multiple people at multiple radio stations. By doing so, you make it obvious to the recipient that the email is not intended especially for them...but instead, just a mass plea to multiple stations. It shows that you are not a true fan of our station...one station. And while I can appreciate your passion to help get Susan's music played more, it is the job of her record company to promote her effectively to radio stations all over the U.S. The truth is they hold about 98% of the power of getting her on radio stations...it's up to them to bring their client, their artist to us. That's their job.

And Grace...we have played Susan Boyle's music on our station...so I assume this email is not directed to me.

Happy holidays.

Yes, and written from a Program Director. So keep writing Sony/Columbia/and any station. It will be getting noticed soon, if we don't let up. Even one a day. Keep going. We are turtles, crawling along to win the race.

Sometimes, I think some of the team is learning on the job, as they go along. I am sure the PTB know what they have and may be letting it ride, as they have so many artists in their hold. They sure have the manpower to get to the radio stations to play. I see Adele, Gaga, TB, TS and others listed on every playlist and no Susan. Surely the PTB must see it too. Maybe they need a little push from the fans.
